I just noticed that my last post in my devART journal was December 14th...Last year that is...

So I guess it's time for a little update...it's been quite a turbulent year for me...my grandmother, who in my last journal entry was recovering nicely from a surgery, has passed away. She died of cancer. Strange as it may be, I did not feel sad about it, nor do I feel sad about it now. After all, death is just another great adventure...

On a lighter note, I've finished my havo and have started a study at the Hogeschool Rotterdam: Grafimediatechnologie.

It's basically a combination of management and creativity, and deals with all forms of media, i.e. websites, cd-roms, magazines, all that stuff, just not as intensive as a purely creative education.
So far I'm having loads of fun ^_^

The school is, as you might have guessed, in Rotterdam, which is about a 2hr journey from where I live. This isn't all that much, but having to do it everyday and having your parents nag at you for various things kinda makes me wish I was living on my own...so I've decided to start looking for a room/appartment in Rotterdam, together with a classmate of mine.

I've also started playing World of Warcraft, which along with work/school, guitar practice and archery practice has been sucking up most of my time. What little time I have left, I usually spend at friends or in a café/bar, so I haven't had much time for anything creative...

However, now that I've started this study, I'll probably need to do a lot more creative work, which means you people who come here (which is probably close to 0 ^_^) will have more work of mine to look/laugh/puke/spit at ^_^

Maybe someday soon I'll do like all those people all hip and happening, and make one of those lists of friends with all the little user avatars and stuff...or more like a list of people I admire, as I haven't got that many friends >.<



Ah well, if there's anything you'd like to know (Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen...) be sure to send me a personal note or something ^_^
